100m3 AG is a timber trading company headquartered in Switzerland. In the effort of developing its business model, the team is building a disruptive digital marketplace for wood market participants: timber suppliers, renovation professionals, carpenters, and homeowners. We start from Switzerland and plan to expand further in DACH, France, and other European countries. Wood materials are essential for every “homemaking” project. We want to inspire homeowners to build their dream place, and artisans to find and serve their customers through a seamless digital and physical experience. You will support our sales and networking strategy development from the understanding of core customer segments, building tools and sales metrics, develop on-line and off-line sales activities to defining & implementing an ambitious growth plan. You will lead the sales activities via digital communications and customer engagement initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities

You will be reporting to the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CTO), coached by our Marketing Strategist. You will assume the following set of key responsibilities:

  • Find and convince new business partners in home renovation market in Switzerland through outbound calls and emails. Develop a network of our members and supporters
  • Identify new sales opportunities and work with the team to develop them.
  • Onboard home improvement professionals (architects, builders, carpenters, joiners, landscape designers, etc) to our platform and help them create a free professional profile, share relevant info (advices, projects etc) and start using our platform to grow their business
  • Assess and qualify professionals’ business needs and link those to our platform, help them to be a part of the community, get them in touch with our content and marketing team. Assist in their interaction with the platform
  • Influence product and marketing team to participate in sales strategy implementation

Personal qualities

  • At least 3-6 months of sales or marketing experience or strong willingness to develop a career in Sales of digital services
  • A verifiable track record of success during your studies or career
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills in German and English, French is a big plus
  • Well structured mindset, attentive to details
  • Readiness to work in distant sales and customer care team
  • An understanding of or experience in selling intangibles via Internet is preferred (i.e. advertising, financial services, business services)
  • Tech savviness - able to conduct presentations virtually using assorted platforms and troubleshoot when complications arise
  • Team oriented mindset, positive attitude to constant change
